damo we have literally the best farm team in baseball pretty much. Youk, pedroia, ellsbury, papelbon, lester, buchholz... none of these guys are scrubs they are literally some of the best in baseball. And they are all from our farm and we've had them dirt cheap for many years. That in large part helps us free up more money to rape our other farm team (aka the rays)

Our farms teams cannot bring us victory, so we buy it from clubs who can't afford the people they brought up from their farms.

Well, that and the talent you directly purchased. It's silly to ignore that part because you want to believe you are the "good guys"...
People from the Yankees came up from their farm teams. They just aren't lying to themselves about how much they spend on those from outside the farm system.
obviously we have money. but you are overlooking that like nearly all of our best players right now, I mean ALL of them, are all from our farm system and dirt cheap. We aren't talking about one or two guys that turned out to be good. We are talking multiple all stars, all from the farm.
