You seem to have missed the point. Kavanaugh may have committed perjury. That said, trumpanzees rarely care about "what is right". More often it is merely "what is right for them".

The other justices would have to impeach him. It demeans justice in America when perjurers are tolerated. Worse when it's the judges and Justices committing the perjury.

I'm sure proof-positive evidence would do it. Now it's just a string of odd behavior, mostly circumstantial. IMO, it's enough to deny appointment to the bench but not enough to impeach him.

Too bad the Republicans chose to overlook Kavanaugh's behavior in their rush to confirm a Trump-appointed Republican judge.

Not sure about Trump's taxes. It's not required. The IRS and FBI knows whether or not anything was illegal. I think it's mostly a matter of Democrats seeking to throw dirt on Trump by pointing out he's a liar about charities and his business relations (albeit legal) with Russia.

I think that last is true but also the SDNY needs the information for their investigations into fraud, tax evasion, etc.

They'll have to legally obtain them just like they would for any other citizen.

Also note that, like the IRS and FBI, there is a difference between looking at them for evidence and releasing them to the public for political reasons.
