It’s like this everywhere you go.

This was earlier this afternoon as we were leaving.

I covered Woolsey in 2018, I thought for sure nothing could ever top that in terms of damage & destruction.

The #PalisadesFire is significantly worse.

The death toll in the L.A. County wildfires has now officially risen from 11 to 16, according to the L.A. County Coroner.

Eleven dead in the #EatonFire in Altadena, and five dead in the #PalisadesFire in Malibu, the Palisades, and Topanga.

Watch this extraordinary video as a woman narrates how she and her family stayed behind to save their family home. Their efforts were heroic and excruciating. She provides a lot of detail. This is wrenching, but a powerful historical reminder of the terrible failures of this moment.
