I have noticed that too....the rightwing seemingly defines itself by being "against" the Democratic Party, more than articulating what they actually stand for themselves.

I have noticed a handful of permutations of this premise, that are trotted out relentlessly:

"I know the GOP sucks....but Democrats are even worse!"

"I was FORCED to vote for Trump....because....Hillary....Benghazeeeee!"

"If only Democrats had run Zell Miller, I would not have been FORCED to vote for George Dumbya Bush!"

Senators make about 200 K a year. He has had a pretty good job, but he has not stolen money like so many others. A US senator is not an everyday Joe.
