Bear in mind that that idiot poster you responded to heaped copious praise upon the Carrot-in-Chief's vanity birthday parade that is said to have cost us millions to stage, while screaming in anguish over the totally FREE No Kings massive protests. I have provided this data to you in multiple ways. I summarized it for you, but you demanded a link. I provided you a link yet you claim it is vague. What is so vague about it? I broke down the table in a way that even a 5 year old can understand it. By every measure the wealthy in this country is carrying the burden of federal taxation. If anyone should be paying their faire share of the federal tax burden, it should be the bottom 50%. They are getting a free ride. So explain again what it is your are complaining about with regards to taxation and so called "fair share"?

Top 1% earn 22% of the total adjusted income yet pay 40% of federal income taxes. The bottom 50% earn 11% of adjusted income and pay 3% of federal income tax burden. This is your last chance to address this issue in an intelligent manner. Otherwise, I will just accept that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and are just pulling Joy Reid talking points out of your rear end.

Taxing income on a progressive scale is essential to having at least a minimally civilized society.
The wealthy get far more government service than do the poor, including the poor on assistance.
They have a lot more that requires government protection,
and they're still going to be very wealthy,
even if they pay the taxes that they should be paying.
