Man dies of asthma attack after inhaler cost skyrockets to more than $500

Of course u are...this story was a hit piece

This guy had asthma since the age of 2 .....he and his parents should have known how to deal with this!
Your emotional investment in this incident is interesting. Did any of your relatives die from lack medical insurance, medical incompetence or lack of medicine?

Not in 4 days!!!!

He had working parents with a house

Are you saying they wouldn't have taken him in to save his life?
When health insurance denies your medication, the solution is not to quit your job, give up your health insurance, and move hundreds of miles away to live with your parents. The solution is to figure out a way to get the health insurance to cover your medication.

The kid was just 22 years old, so I do not expect him to get this right. How old are you Vol? I am serious, how can you not get this?

I think we're either missing part of the story or the suit will be dismissed.
They keep the rules constantly changing in order to confuse people, and have people not get the benefits of the insurance that is paid for. The kid waited until the last day to renew his medication, and then was not as forceful as he needed to be when he found the rules had changed. That being said, the pharmacist was supposed to help him, but the insurance company had paid the pharmacist not to be helpful.
