I'm finding it hard to feel sorry for them. Threats are nearly constant on all of them, each time large legislation passes there is a bump, nothing new has happened the Ds just decided to use the fact that they happen to pretend that it is "worse than ever", which is rubbish. The guy who handles their security made it clear that nothing out of the ordinary is happening.

That they were prepared to go out and blame all activity on TEA Party Protests just means that they like to play dirty pool, but that's politics. Nobody cares, it's all fauxrage.

No act of Congress — health care reform or anything else — merits threats of violence against lawmakers or their families.

By ratcheting up the rhetoric, some will only inflame these situations to dangerous levels.

Enough is enough. It has to stop.

A threat to assault a member of Congress in retaliation for the performance of official duties is punishable by up to a year in prison.
