Speaking after the sentencing hearing, Manafort's lawyer - unaware of a new 16 charge indictment having been filed by the Manhattan D.A's office - once gain started parroting the "no collusion" mantra even after being admonished by the DC Judge for doing so after the Virginia hearing. Thankfully, a bunch of bystanders started shouting him down and setting the record straight as to what the DC Judge actually said.

Now, most of us are fully aware that both Manafort and his lawyer are speaking to an "audience of one" and their comments are solely targeted as a means to garner a pardon from Trump. Given that Manafort has already admitted to many of the charges levied in the indictment, Manafort can simply wave his pardon "bye-bye".

The question is why he keeps doing that. It has nothing to do with the last 2 court cases. He is doing Trump publicity. But it has nothing to do with Manafort or the trials. I suppose he knows Manafort will be implicated in the conspiracy trials coming up.

Both judges said the trials were not about Russian collusion. Then the lawyer walked out and announced they both proved there was no collusion. He made a huge point of that lie. The only answer is he was asking for a pardon.Trump parroted the lawyers statements. Same talking points.
