Mariners Closing in on Another Win/Loss Record

Minister of Truth

Practically Perfect
This time its in the loss category, having spun out a whopping 16-straight losses in succession. Last night the Yankees beat them 10-3. Ironically, mid-way through this impressive streak of non-endurance, the M's celebrated the 10th anniversary of their 116 game-winning season that set the AL record and tied the NL record. Of course, being the Seattle team that they are, the Mariners then failed to go to the World Series in 2001.

The MLB record is 23 straight losses. Many are assuming the Mariners will get to 22 and then let us all down with an accidental win.

GO SEATTLE, FUCK YEAH!!

Well, Seattle snapped the losing-streak at 17 with the 9-2 win over the Yankees. I must say this is one of the most disappointing victories in franchise history. :cof1:
