The Democrats thank you mutton heads

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called former President Donald Trump the "leader of the Republican Party" after he helped secure conservative holdouts at a critical moment in the House speaker race.

As the tight election played out on the House floor Friday night, Greene was seen holding up her cellphone to Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT), one of the opponents to McCarthy's bid for speaker. The phone screen read read “DT," which she later confirmed was the former president on the line.

"It was the perfect phone call," Greene tweeted the photo of her holding up a cellphone to Rosendale.

“I do want to especially thank President Trump," McCarthy told reporters Saturday morning. "I don’t think anybody should doubt his influence."

Perfect phone call? Who talks like that? What is the hierarchy of a perfect phone call? When Trump said that in the past, I thought it was nuts. it has not made more sense since then.

MTG is correct as the Speaker fiasco last week proved.
