Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Wednesday seized on President-elect Donald Trump’s newly revealed wish to rename the Gulf of Mexico after America, arguing that the United States pays to protect it.

“It’s our gulf,” she said in unveiling her two-page bill set to be introduced Thursday. “The rightful name is the Gulf of America, and it’s what the entire world should refer to it as.”

At a press conference earlier Tuesday, Trump announced his idea of changing the name to the Gulf of America, one of the many new initiatives he has offered since becoming the president-elect. Others include buying Greenland and making Canada the 51st state.

We already pay for Mexico's welfare program, build its factories for it, and now they've even lost over a third of their own country to bandits and thugs. They aren't a real country any more, just a free fire zone open for anybody to take.

You should ask your husband for permission to go to Mexico, Ms. Edwina. Yes, parts are bad, but most are not since, as others have pointed out, the Republicans have let so many businesses build factories there. Will you be happier when the DOGE encourages those factories to be built in the US and import the Mexican workers via H1B? Just how fucking stupid are you, dear?
