The RIFs (Reduction-in-Force) has begun.

Over 4,000 workers across seven departments are not being furloughed......they're being Terminated thanks to the Schumer Shutdown.


* Department of Commerce: 315 employees

* Department of Education: 466 employees

* Department of Energy: 187 employees

* Department of Health and Human Services: 1,000-1,200 employees

* Department of Housing and Urban Development: 442 employees

* Department of Homeland Security: 176 employees

* Department of Treasury: 1,446 employees

Schumer could have avoided this by voting for the clean CR like they did multiple times during the Biden administration. But Schumer is more worried about his career than other people's careers.

Since these useless and bloated tax payer supported govt jobs that Trump and DOGE have decided ...thanks to Schumer's shutdown
to terminate, that in the long run will help make the taxpayer a little more happy and confident that their hard earned monies aren't
going into the pockets of these non needed deep state type lackeys.
 
At an average loaded labor rate of $80K year X 4000 = $320M in savings!

It is a start, but not near enough!

About 100X that many, or 400K fired workers would be more appropriate.

Or! We could deport a few million Illegals! :)

Or Both ! :p
