Okay... So here is a math challenge for all you pinheads. Let's see who has the gumption to find the answer?
Our national debt just topped $16 trillion. (For the sake of this problem, we will assume an even $16 trillion.)
The JPP site has 1,079 members. (For the sake of this problem, we will round this to an even 1,000)
We, the members of JPP, have been supplied with 16 trillion beers!
For each beer we consume, the national debt will be reduced by $1.00
We will presume that our membership are all avid beer guzzlers, capable of downing a beer in exactly 1 second!
In what year will we pay off the national debt?
EDIT: Oh yeah... and we are also given the immortal power to never sleep or do anything other than consume beers at 1 per second until we reach our goal... I forgot to include that part.
