The Merlin was used in the Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster and Mustang. Rolls Royce built over 160,000 and Packard built around 55,000.

The P-51 Mustang, with its original Allison engine, was satisfactory at medium altitude but very disappointing at high altitude. The decision to fit the Mustang with the Merlin was nothing less than truly inspired. Not only was it a far better performer but the range was greatly extended, allowing it to go all the way to Berlin, with drop tanks, escorting bombers all the way there and back.
 
non-BP oil used in the plastic, wind generator powered, Apple designed.....total fuck up as far as tOm is concerned........

You can be a real snarky cunt sometimes!! There was some crap underneath the space bar, gave it a clean with isopropyl alcohol and it is working perfectly. Maybe you should do the same with your brain?

I clean my brain with alcohol on a regular basis........it also works perfectly........
