Meta will get rid of factcheckers, “dramatically reduce the amount of censorship” and recommend more political content on its platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Threads, founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced.

This is why I ignore all posts from social media.

I am sure your sage comments are missed.

BTW, you forgot Dana White was just added to the board at META.

It probably would have helped if they had people who could actually factcheck to begin with...

What do you think fact-checking entails?
At Facebook determining if the post's content agrees with the "factchecker's" political, social, scientific, or whatever, opinion. That's how most, if not all, factchecking works. All "factchecking" really is is just a facade to try and lend a layer of extra credibility to somebody's opinion.

Trump speaks and that is how you judge a fact.

So, we shouldn't have factcheckers at any media outlets?
