And Mueller just keeps on marching along. I knew it was said to be coming. Guess Mueller has everything he needs from FLYNN now and is going to court to set a sentencing date. I would not venture a guess if this is good or bad for Flynn.

FLYNN IS A TRAITOR!

Judge sets hearing in Flynn case

A pair of legal filings suggesting that special counsel Robert Mueller's office is almost-but-not-quite ready to set a sentencing date for former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn have prompted a federal judge to order Flynn and lawyers for both sides to make an unexpected trip to court next week.

The hearing set for next Tuesday would be the first court appearance for Flynn since last December, when the former Defense Intelligence Agency chief appeared in a packed courtroom to plead guilty to one felony count of making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian ambassador to the U.S., about his lobbying during the presidential transition on a United Nations resolution critical of Israel, and about his lobbying work favorable to the Turkish government.

Absurd; but that is the sorry state of the Mueller investigation; ruining a man who honorably served his country for decades.

I'll venture a guess that Flynn will not be found guilty. And if that happens, trump will just pardon him. Then what? More leftist tears?

TWO articles. 2 takes? One 13 hours ago said not quite ready. 7 hours ago said ready. Maybe I put the wrong one up.

Kinda weird, but the JUDGE is pushing for sentencing and Flynn's lawyers trying to delay or Mueller's trying to delay? Judge ordering them back in court. It was about 2 months ago that they pushed back the sentencing. (Though we just heard about it couple or 3 weeks ago).

A federal judge on Monday ordered former national security adviser Michael Flynn to appear at a hearing next week to discuss plans for his eventual sentencing in the Russia investigation.

Flynn's legal team and prosecutors working for special counsel Robert Mueller recently asked to delay Flynn's sentencing for an additional two months. Flynn pleaded guilty in December to lying to investigators and has been cooperating with the Mueller investigation. While he has been assisting the investigation, prosecutors have sought to delay his sentencing.

But the judge overseeing the case is showing impatience. Judge Emmett Sullivan ordered everyone back for a hearing next week, which would be Flynn's first court appearance in seven months. Mueller's team could also have a chance to drop some hints on how Flynn is helping their investigation, which is increasingly the target of attacks from President Donald Trump and his Republican allies.
In their request for a delay, prosecutors also asked for a probation officer to prepare a report on Flynn's background and how it fits with sentencing guidelines. This was a departure from standard procedure, because that step usually occurs in the wind-up to sentencing....

That's what it takes nowadays. You almost have to read CNN's version then Fox's and try to filter out the B.S. One thing's for sure, Judge Emmett Sullivan is a no nonsense guy, by the book.
Fox's version:
Mueller, Flynn give vague response when judge demands answers on sentencing delays

Mueller’s team on Friday once again delayed sentencing Flynn, marking the third time sentencing has been postponed.

Mueller for months has vaguely cited “the status of the Special Counsel’s investigation” for not offering a suggested sentencing date.

Over the weekend, Sullivan said the delays have forced the court to change its procedures in a presentence investigation. The judge demanded “reasons why the Court should expend the Probation Office's resources and depart from the Court's usual practice of ordering a presentence report, scheduling a sentencing date, and establishing a sentencing briefing schedule at the same time.”

What do you think the HUGE threat was that Flynn posed to the nation? What did he lie about? Do you even know? Do you care?

Flynn pleaded guilty in December to lying to investigators

I don't think the article states what you think it says. You either didn't read it or didn't understand it.

Mueller has repeatedly delayed sentencing. If he had the goods on Flynn and Flynn cooperated fully then he should have been sentenced already. I suspect like his Russian indictments he is not on solid ground with Flynn. But, maybe THIS IS IT

nope

fox spins

Yes, it does. CNN does as well, in the opposite direction -- but not to the same extent as Fox. That being said, I got disgusted with CNN years ago when they turned into more of a tabloid featuring scandalous celebrity news, lurid murder cases, and scurrilous gossip. My disappointment was capped off when they developed a severe case of Trumpitis to the point where almost all of my CNN Breaking News email alerts were Trump tweeted this, and Trump farted that. Meanwhile, we would turn on the NBC Nightly News and discover that during the day there was (for example) a massive factory explosion, a killer tornado in Texas, a raging wildfire in California, and a fatal airline crash in Brazil.... not a breaking news peep out of CNN about that. I still occasionally look at their website if there is some current events of interest that I learned of elsewhere.
