Michigan business couple arrested for using and abusing illegal workers

A husband and wife in Michigan had over 240 illegals working for their plumbing business. They made millions while they paid the workers less than minimum wage, no benefits, kept them in slum-like conditions, and didn't bother with things like taxes. The business operation was multi-state and involved regular human trafficking too.

They're looking at about 10 years and a million in fines if convicted just for the hiring of these illegals. Tack on additional charges for not paying taxes, human trafficking, etc. and they could be in prison for decades with tens of millions in fines slapped on them. Let's hope that happens!

It is common in America for businessmen to cheat. I read about a guy who had a big rush building program. He hired illegals and worked them to death. Then, when the project was finished, he called ICE.
