Midnight Hammer: How Trump outsmarted Congress, the media, and Iran in one move - opinion
Like most other Israelis, there was nothing I wanted more this past week than that US President Donald Trump would decide to enter the war on our side. And then he did.

I never imagined that I would ever be so delighted to be proven completely wrong three and a half hours after sending in an article to The Jerusalem Post.

Yet, this is exactly what happened to me early Sunday, when a massive US attack obliterated the three most important Iranian nuclear facilities: the nuclear enrichment site at Fordow, which is located 300 feet beneath a mountain, and where until very recently Iran stored the 400 kg. of highly enriched uranium it had; the facility at Natanz, where Iran was reported to have developed and assembled centrifuges for uranium enrichment; and Iran’s nuclear research complex at Isfahan.

Much of what I had written about were the many reasons why US President Donald Trump was delaying a decision to join Israel in its attacks in the previous week on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which posed an existential threat to Israel, and rocket-launching facilities, from which Iran had been launching rockets, primarily at civilian targets all over Israel, with significant damage caused to apartment buildings and private homes, and causing some fatalities of persons who had been unable (or unwilling) to seek refuge in safe rooms and air-raid shelters.
One of the foci of my original article was the following event. Towards the evening in Israel (US midday) of Thursday, June 21, Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, gave a press briefing in Washington in which she delivered a statement “directly from the president,” which said: “Based on the fact that there’s substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to [join the Israeli attack in Iran] within the next two weeks.”

This statement infuriated a majority of Israelis – supporters of both the coalition and the opposition – who were expecting the US to join the Israeli attack, and especially to send B-2 Spirit stealth bombers to drop GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrator bombs (MOPs) on the Iranian enrichment site at Fordow.

The Israeli Air Force carried out a wave of strikes with 30 fighter jets in four areas of Iran earlier today, targeting missile and drone sites, the IDF says.

Dozens of targets were hit simultaneously in Isfahan, Bushehr, Ahvaz, and, for the first time, also Yazd, according to the military.

The IDF says some 60 munitions were dropped by the fighter jets in the strikes.

“As part of the wave of strikes, fighter jets targeted for the first time the ‘Imam Hussein’ strategic missile headquarters in the Yazd area, where long-range Khorramshahr missiles were stored,” the military says, adding that from this facility, some 60 missiles had been fired at Israel.

Simultaneously, in Isfahan, Bushehr and Ahvaz, the military says it targeted missile launchers, air defense battery production sites, a headquarters of an Iranian drone regiment and a drone storage facility.

Amid the strikes, the IDF says an air force drone identified Iranian soldiers “arming missile launchers, and eliminated them shortly afterward.”

No democrats, no military leaks. Amazing!

Tell us exactly, how did “Trump outsmart Congress, the media, and Iran in one move?” “Emanuel Fabian” didn’t, in fact, the only one fooled appears to be Emanuel Fabian

He said he would not allow Iran to get a nuke.
They were not getting one. His own intelligence agencies said that. Trump attacked for another reason. His ratings are dropping lower than any other president ever in the history of the world. He thinks this will help him get the people behind him. It should not. Orange man has blood all over his hands and it will mean nothing to him. He would do it again today.

Done deal...Promise made, promise kept...
First off, they do not have any real appraisal yet of the effects of the attacks, second, Trump made similar “promises” in his first term, lastly, Trump “promised” he would never drag the U.S. into a war in the Middle East, and bombing another nation pretty much signals you are at war

Why did they enrich past 3% to 60% or more. Liar. Biden's approval ratings got to 36%. Trump's are at 46.8% According to 538

That is one of those open to interpretations things, they might not have had a bomb yet, but with all that uranium, doesn’t seem like they were surrendering their goal of attaining a bomb

I do agree Trump would do anything to advance himself, not known for his moral compass, and as we saw with Covid, he is willing to demagogue anything if he thinks it will help him

Apparently you didn't see Jerusalem Post/Opinion on the top left. An opinion is just that and not necessarily fact, so you don't have much to justify what you posted.

Trump Pearl Harbored a nation we were not at war with. That sneak attack should shame the Americans. But with Trump, the people he has conned are pleased as hell. Apparently, we have the right to bomb anyone at any time, Trump wants.

Here is something for you to think about!

Dmitry Medvedev says 'number of countries' are now queuing up to hand the devastating weapons to Iran

The fact is Iran was not after a nuke and certainly not 2 weeks away from one. Now we all can understand they should go after one. Trump has motivar-ted them into going after a nuke. With oil money, they can buy all they need.
Link, Nordy…enrichment at 60%…why?
