Minnesota GOP Strategist Faces Underage Sex Trafficking Charges

Minnesota Republican strategist Anton Lazzaro was arrested in Minneapolis on Thursday morning on underage sex trafficking charges, the FBI confirmed.


The indictment was unsealed in a federal court in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Thursday afternoon during Lazzaro's initial appearance, which took place via videoconference.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Becky R. Thorson ordered Lazzaro to remain in jail until a hearing next week after prosecutors claimed six victims had asked for additional protection against the GOP strategist.

The indictment alleges that Lazzaro "recruited" at least five underage victims for paid sex between May and December last year, and tried to entice a sixth. Police believe there may be more victims.

Arizona State Senator Tony Navarrete has resigned following his arrest five days ago on seven child sex abuse charges.
Navarrete is alleged to have sexually abused a 13-year-old boy while they lived together in a Phoenix residence. The abuse allegedly began around 2019 and continued until the boy was 15. Investigators claim to have audio of Navarrete apologizing to the victim for his abuse.

Now, the 35-year-old first-term Democratic politician is facing a Class 2 felony molestation of a child, three Class 2 felonies for sexual conduct with a minor, one Class 3 felony for attempted sexual conduct with a minor, and two Class 6 felonies for sexual conduct with a minor, according to Yahoo News. If convicted, he'll face a minimum mandatory prison sentence of 49 years.

No it isn't. It's a valid comparison. The two events happened virtually concurrently. Guno mentioned one but not the other. Both parties have plenty of corrupt, perverted, criminal politicians in them, but there seems to be a problem with those that support the Left and Democrats when it's one of theirs. I think it's equally reprehensible when a Republican does that shit to when a Democrat does it.

I perused that list. It looks from 1970 to present discounting those cases where it was innuendo, claimed but not proven, etc., that it's pretty even at about 30 to 30 cases. Seems to me that perverts know no party. On the other hand, it appears that 100% of the cases were men...
