Mississippi city stuns newspaper with restraining order over editorial

I'm not alarmed. The judge will be overruled if he erred.
Many of the federal judges, and even more of the Mississippi State judges are very right wing, and hostile to freedom of the press.

Besides, restraining orders chill the discourse, even when reversed. It takes time to reverse them.

There was a judge in Tennessee(I think) that was sentencing children for crimes that do not exist. Sure those convictions would be overturned, but it took time, and money. If you are a poor Tennessee parent, spending a couple of thousand dollars to get your kid out of prison is bad, but having your kid spend a few months in prison for the crime of taking the Fifth Amendment is worse.
