“No majority leader wants written on his tombstone that he presided over the end of the Senate,” the minority leader said.

By rights, McConnell’s tombstone should say that he presided over the end of the Senate. And I’d add a second line: “He broke America.” No man has done more in recent years to undermine the functioning of U.S. government. His has been the epitome of unprincipled leadership, the triumph of tactics in service of short-term power.

After McConnell justified his filibuster-ending “nuclear option” by saying it would be beneficial for the Senate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said this: “Whoever says that is a stupid idiot.”

McConnell is no idiot. He is a clever man who does what works for him in the moment, consequences be damned.

Two years ago, when a Democrat was in the White House, McConnell said he would only abolish filibusters of Supreme Court justices if there were 67 votes for such a change. This week, he employed a maneuver to do it with 51 votes. It suited his momentary needs, but the damage will remain long after McConnell’s tombstone is engraved.

McConnell is a traitor to the USA …

Republican politicians have a single concern; elections. They protect their many corrupt associates without any concern regarding the seriousness of their crimes.

Mitch McConnell should be tried for treason. His inaction since 2008 has not only proven that he is the worst senator in American history; he is a traitor by definition.

The CIA has revealed the fact that Russia intervened in the election; only Trump and his cronies ignore this fact. Did McConnell know this for a fact, and was he complicit in the results? The answer is a resounding “yes.”

The GOP knows that Russkie interference might just help them to win again at the next election so they will sit with their thumbs up their collective ass and watch the POS in The White House thumb his orange nose at the rule of law and The Constitution along with his entire monstrous administration.

Well, lets look at it.

If you’re Russia do you want:

A president who doubts his generals, his intelligence community, and refuses to work with Congress (and it’s 2 way street) to make any sort of domestic or foreign policy reforms that may hinder the Russian efforts to sow discord in the US Electorate or hinder them on the international stage in a serious way

or

Risk having a President who believes the generals and the intelligence community when they want to treat Russia with hostility and stands ready to work with Congress to hinder Russia when necessary?

The answer is quite clear that the Russians have Trump right where they want him.

Is McConnell complicit in this effort? Yes.

Trump and the crime syndicate previously known as the GOP is being directed to put a foreign policy in place for the USA that is being designed by Putin. McConnel does not enough light shined upon him to expose his vile agenda. He's another freakin' reptilian monster.
