In a new biography, the Utah senator and former US presidential nominee Mitt Romney will reportedly consider the Republican party’s “slide toward authoritarianism” and how he may have helped empower extremists.

The book will be called Romney: A Reckoning and will be published in October. News of its release comes after the senator made headlines by confronting George Santos, the New York fabulist who has rocked the House Republican party, before Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.

He's more than stupid enough to be a Democrat. Here's hoping he moves to the donkey fucking party. BTW that's your party shithead

Authoritarians tell everyone else how to live. That describes Democrats.

Shit, they won't even let an entire state decide on abortion, but are too cowardly to go invade México and make the same demands

Chickenshit Authoritarians.

He wouldn't be welcome there. Shoot Manchin is less conservative than Romney and he's barely accepted in the caucus, they got quite upset at him refusing to vote for their entire platform.

I get that folks think RINO when they see Romney, however no matter how odd you may think it is, I would rather someone be elected as a squishy republican than even a conservative Democrat. I know that the Democrat will almost never support what I believe, the squishy republican will at least support what I believe 85 to 90% of the time.

Personally, I utilize Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of another republican...

This idea that every republican must believe 100% what Trump wants them to needs to end. We already know that Trump can lose to a basement dwelling dementia patient that nobody even wants to run again, time to pick someone else to lead the republican party out of the minority.

In general I would agree with you the problem is that these days democrats rely on nitwits like Romney and liz Chaney to complete their dirty work. We really need people more than ever with real backbones. The left roll over those people.
