The American Dream changes in detail, of course, but not that much in substance.
People want to not be stressed with concerns about food, shelter, clothing, and health--
hopefully education and the opportunity to be productive as well--
and most of us want to share all of that with pleasant company, be it family and/or friends,
in a tranquil environment.
The present criminal administration deliberately tries to limit realization of that dream
to a privileged class of descendants of white people from the northern part of Western Europe.
The goal is to kill the idea of everyone striving to achieve this
so that the pain in the ass classes of people don't get in their way
while trying themselves to share in the prosperity.
Ironically, the criminal and shocking unpatriotic but nationalist administration
is actually smothering that prosperity
while trying to preserve it for the "right people."
