I don't find accents annoying, I just have to concentrate a bit harder than usual - and the Southern accent takes the furrowed brow award for me. I mean when someone sounds like Tony Joe White I really have to listen, but it's not annoying.

What is annoying is that Valley Girl/Surfer Dude patois. That is a pain.

I was going to say, it is the hardest to understand. Many Indian men have very deep voices. And they mutter a bit. With that and the accent it's very difficult to understand.
