USC coming in at Number Seven (insert face palm gif here). And that number doesn’t include room and board and other expenses. The real number is closer to $85K - $90K/year. Yes, being ranked the 25th best school in the country probably makes it elite. But among the elite we are nowhere near the top tier. A couple of the other schools I’ve barely heard of.

Old timers who spout that everyone should go to college certainly weren’t paying these kinds of numbers when they were in school. It can be very hard to justify.
