A British hate-preacher has been caught on camera saying the soldier beheaded in a London street last month will "burn in hellfire."

Anjem Choudary - an extremist accused of inspiring other outbreaks of terror — shockingly claimed Lee Rigby, 25, would be tortured in hell for not being Muslim.

"As an adult non-Muslim, whether he is part of the Army or not part of the Army, if he dies in a state of disbelief then he is going to go to the hellfire," said the cleric.

It is amazing that some people in the 21st century actually believe this bullshit.
 
Not just muslims who believe that, but yeah, pretty bizarre.

Had lunch with a customer years ago; she was some kind of evangelical christian. She said if people didn't follow jesus they'd go to hell. I asked what about people who had never heard of him. She said they should have figured out he existed and followed him ....

Since she was a customer, we moved on to other topics; figured that was the safest way to avoid losing business for my company.

Did she decapitate you for not sharing her beliefs?
 
Well, that was entirely unexpected. It is almost as if Choudary is saying these things to the press in order to ensure instant publicity. At the same time it is almost as if the press are constantly reporting what Choudary has to say in order to provoke some kind of public outrage, which they can then report on some more.

However, I am sure such a symbiotic relationship could never ever prosper in such a critical and cynical world, could it?

Charver that is a thing of beauty. I guess I was a bit disappointed to discover the media in England are just as stupid and cheap as they are here.

Oh yes, our media are just as abominable as yours. I suppose our print media is far worse but your television news is still a few lengths ahead of ours in the odium stakes.
