Saudi Arabia formally requests his extradition, but Germany denies the request, citing "human rights concerns" despite clear evidence of Taleb Abdulmohsen's criminal activities.
After fleeing Saudi justice, Abdulmohsen reinvented himself as a "dissident", publicly pretending to be an atheist and "ex"-Muslim.
This ploy appears to have been strategic, in my estimation.
It seems likely to me that Abdulmohsen's goal was securing German citizenship. He succeeded. Germany suffers from suicidal empathy, like most Western nations do, particularly in Europe.
He's a sex pest, BTW.
Dr. Abdulmohsen (yes, he has a degree) began working in a German hospital as a psychiatrist. He became interested in importing young girls, and was said to encourage female minors from Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries to emigrate to Germany.
As time went by, Abdulmohsen began to make explicit threats online, which woke authorities dismissed as "freedom of expression." He remained fairly active on social media, repeatedly posting threats, including voice recordings, in which he ranted that "Germany" was conspiring against him and other Saudis. Perhaps the young girls he desired were denied visas.
This is the man the left is making excuses for today.
