Last night, I ate in a nice restaurant in Sacramento that is a well known watering-hole for republican legislators and lobbyists.

I simply couldn’t get over the fact that when I went to the men’s room and there was not foot tapping or “wide stances” going on. No one felt “threatened” by me and offered me twenty dollars to perform oral sex on me (thank God). The teenage male interns dining there didn’t appear to be getting hit on by any male legislators, and I didn’t see any bags of cash being passed illicitly between lobbyists and legislators. Amazing! It was just like any other family restaurant. It was just like dining at “Olive Garden”.

I had the same experience... Noone was trying to tell others what they could do or not do in there own bedrooms... Noone was complaing about single sex couples eating together, there were no mandatory prayers before begining your meals, noone was asking if we were christians. I was shocked!
 
That is amazing. I will have to one day eat at a con restaurant. Umm wait I have I ate at the BBQ place in TX that Bush ate at.
Yeah other than the pointy toed boots and hats it was pretty normal for a redneck kind of place.
