After losing narrowly to Kennedy in 1960, Nixon said:
“Our country can’t afford the agony of a constitutional crisis, and I damn well will not be a party to creating one just to become president.”

Can you imagine Trump saying that? Another four years of a self-obsessed president whose stock-in-trade is stoking divisiveness, peddling misrepresentation and plain lying (and nearly half the country going along with it) could change America forever.

This election matters.
 
Biden won't tell us his views on a constitutional crisis until after the election. He will form a commission to study on it.

A Biden presidency will or would be very interesting. Potentially more interesting than Watergate, Iran/Contra, and Russiagate combined.

You think Biden might arrange a break-in at Trump Tower, sell weapons to Iran to fund the opposition in Venezuela, and invite Russia (or China?) to undermine US elections? Or something else that nobody has thought of?

That would be interesting! I bet Hillary would be in on it, too.

Those are all exciting scandals. Let's say that taking money from nations like China through bagmen is at least as big as those you cited.

One of our major problems is that we leave them to politicians instead of cops. What this country needs is a new Elliot Ness.
