Bottom line: Pompeo always made me nervous:

Most of President Trump’s troubles originated with his unwillingness to fire all of those Clinton and Obama holdovers entrenched in every federal bureaucracy. Lets hope Trump does better with two of his appointments who disobeyed a direct order. Soldiers in combat can get shot for disobeying a direct order. Getting fired is the only price Mike Pompeo and Pat Shanahan will pay for conspiring against the president.

XXXXX

p.s. I guess West Point stopped turning out soldiers like Eisenhower and Joe Swing by the time West Point graduate Secretary of State Pompeo got his commission.
