This is for your Archives. Remember your claim that private schools couldn't compete because of money? Leaving aside 'SC (because we're awful), look at the U (Miami is playing the N.I.L. game to win) and look at SMU (they basically said we won't take any money for a decade to join the ACC and not only are they ranked 13th in the country they have a robust NIL program that is only just getting started.)
It's a combination of what will the schools allow and how much do boosters want to get involved but for those who want to play, being a private school isn't holding you back.
