Name the People Most Likely to get the Congressional Medal of Honor from Bush?

bummer what a rip I just googled and realized that congress has nothing to do with the congressional medal of honor.

LOL, got you to check it out for me.
Well then Bush cannot give the medal to anyone, congress has to approve it.
He can however present it in congresses name.

It would if the politicians didn't decide that they were "for the people" meant that they must "give the people more money".

For sure Alberto Gonzales since he took the "hit" for Bush and he was recently named Lawyer of the Year by the ALA

First off you Canadian MORON. Only Military members are eligible for the CMOH. It is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. So a former Attorney General would not be eligible. Go talk about something you know about.

Actually it does...

The moron can't even understand what is said in his own link.......

Not to be confused with the Medal of Honor, commonly called the "Congressional Medal of Honor", which is the highest military decoration of the United States.

He proves he's a ass with every post he makes....

I was thinking the same, in the first post is was Congressional Medal of Honor. Someone wisely saw how off that was. Then went to the Congressional Gold Medal, when I think was the original poster had in mind was:

Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipients

President George W. Bush today announced the recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Nation's highest civil award. Established by Executive Order 11085 in 1963, the Medal may be awarded by the President "to any person who has made an especially meritorious contribution to (1) the security or national interests of the United States, or (2) world peace, or (3) cultural or other significant public or private endeavors." President Bush will honor these recipients at a White House ceremony on Wednesday, November 9, 2005.

Hope this helps:

Honestly I am a bit confused on the gold medal vs Congressional Medal of Honor.

A Congressional Gold Medal is the highest civilian award which may be bestowed by the United States Congress, the legislative branch of the United States government. The decoration is awarded to an individual who performs an outstanding deed or act of service to the security, prosperity, and national interest of the United States. The honoree need not be an American citizen.

The Gold Medal and the Presidential Medal of Freedom are generally considered to carry the same level of prestige (though significantly fewer Gold Medals have been awarded). The chief difference between the two is that the Freedom Medal is personally awarded by the President of the United States, and Congressional Gold Medals are awarded in the name of the Congress.

The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. Generally presented to its recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress, it is often called the Congressional Medal of Honor.

TYPES OF THE MEDAL OF HONOR
1862 TO PRESENT

The Navy medal was the first to be struck, followed quickly by the Army version of this award. There are three different types of Medals of Honor today as seen directly below: the original simple star shape established in 1861 which the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard have retained; a wreath version designed in 1904 for the Army; and an altered wreath version for the Air Force, designed in 1963 and adopted in 1965.
