The US National Archives has delivered White House visitor logs from Donald Trump’s administration to the congressional committee investigating the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol by extremist supporters of the then president, the committee said on Friday.

The National Archives also turned over records from former vice-president Mike Pence, meeting a 3 March deadline.

It's nothing, just like the last dozen We've got Trump now because of... claims this asshat committee and their MSM backers have made.

Trump just has a teflon quality when it comes to this stuff, and being rich doesn't hurt.

He's left a trail of corruption and unethical behavior behind him, both in the Presidency & his real estate career.

Regardless, what I stated was accurate. This latest ploy by the Seven Dwarfs of Mental Agility on that committee won't find any 'smoking gun' this time either. It's just political theater, and it isn't working.

You always defend Trump and claim you do not defend Trump. It is funny and pathetic.

I'm not defending anybody here. I'm looking at the situation with this committee from the sidelines. What I see are mental midgets who have a fixation on getting Trump at any cost, many of them being the same mental midgets that tried impeachment twice and failed.

And Trump was successfully impeached twice. Tired of you know nothing babblers.

Impeachment is supposed to be political, by design of the US Constitution.

Successful impeachments become an obvious necessity and gain support from both all parties as they proceed. Partisan political ones run by one party against another rarely succeed. Smart politicians see this and opt out of joining one-party vendettas. I will add this is just as true of the Republican one against Clinton as it was of the two against Trump. The only difference is that the Democrats doubled down on stupid and tried it twice, failing both times miserably.

The Jan 6 committee is really little more than a third attempt against Trump. What really seals that is that the Democrats refused to allow the Republicans to seat their choices for that committee and chose the most partisan and likely to support Democrat motives Republicans in the House to put on it snubbing the Republican leadership. That move was unprecedented and speaks the partisan political nature of this latest attempt to take down Trump.

And, no this has nothing to do with my support or lack thereof of Trump. He's just the target and nothing more as far as I'm concerned.

The House impeaches by majority vote. Thus, the Constitution sets up impeachment as political. It is neither a civil or criminal trial.

Again, Trump was successfully impeached. You need to read the US Constitution.

A successful impeachment includes a conviction and removal from office. Impeachment is just charging someone. It's akin to charging someone with say robbery but they are found innocent at trial. That doesn't make them a robber.

As an example, OJ may well have murdered two people, but he isn't a murderer because he was found innocent at trial. You are conflating charging someone with their conviction. That is, you are saying because they were charged, they are guilty.

It doesn't change what I stated. Successful impeachments are bipartisan affairs.
Impeachment is successful if voted on by the House and passed.

Conviction is handled by the Senate. One does not have to be convicted for an impeachment to be successful.

Andrew Johnson still impeached
William J Clinton still impeached
Donald J Trump still impeached twice
