So if guns were the problem, then those percentages should all be equal. Actually it should be higher for whites as white own far more guns than blacks.

Chuck Todd must either be as thick as brick or deliberately lying about not knowing. I could show him newspaper reports from decades ago that support violence of blacks against blacks being disproportionate. Perhaps he was not able to connect the dots?
 
The question remains...what gun law would have stopped this recent tragedy...where the brother of the birthday girl...a very talented athlete with a football scholarship...lost his life...and his mother was shot as well...
No one can answer that, because no gun law would have prevented it... The problem is people, who grow up with no respect ...for each other...or much of anything....

The gun sits quietly awaiting a thug to use it illegally.

When a gun is used illegally, people of the ilk of D/A Bragg in NY release them.

The far left Democratic Socialists support people like Bragg in large Democratic controlled cities all across America.

The problem is people like Charles are so deluded with leftist dogma that anything which contradicts that creates an cognitive dissonance within them. It's almost unimaginable to then they may not be right.

I'd bet my mortgage money that Charles doesn't think the ideology which he espouses is in any way a contributing factor to the violence he claims to hate so much.

I may well be wrong about everything and I'd be willing to hear how I might be wrong. Unfortunately however instead of being told his I might be wrong I'm called a racist, homophobe, transphobe, misogynist, etc etc etc. If my opinion about things cannot be respected the I see no reason to respect other people's opinions. As far as I know, I have never called you any of those things. I don't even call Trump those things - only an ignoramus, mega liar and self-seeker, all of which I can amply justify.

Here’s a specific. Since 1982 there have been 142 mass shootings in the United States. 52% of those were carried out by whites.

What differences does it make if the shooter is black, blue, green or purple, none of them could have accomplished what they did without the gun that made it all possible, don’t see a lot of drive byes down with knifes

All about access, access to too many guns available, even the wannabe teenage gangster has no problem get one
