The polling spread recognizes that Emerson is the outlier that proves Trump remains in deep trouble.

Polling does not matter now. It might after the Senate rejects removal. The Dems know the Repubs lack of guts to stand up to Daffy. They will protect him. But the people will hear all the evidence of Trump's corruption and what his admin did to hide their involvement. I cannot see how that will help the thief in chief.

The GOP are in a bit of a bind, they don't dare alienate their base, and they're gambling that they don't turn-off the independent voters.

those are the poll results for the impeachment investigation, which you've just wrapped up unsuccessfully.........got a poll on impeachment?.....

Interesting because the latter polls are from last Friday after the public hearings concluded, as I have always said regarding polls, wait long enough and a new one come along to support your view

Also think that most Americans don't understand impeachment, they confuse impeachment inquiry with impeachment with removal from office, which would screw up any poll on the subject

most of Americans don't understand the difference between lib'rul lies and truth.......

Yet another 'poll'. Like always, it means nothing.

We already know the fake news media has TDS.

After the Senate fails to convict him he is going to claim he was exonerated and brag about his popularity, power, and successes ("winning").

I agree polling does not matter now. There would have to be strong public support or opposition before House members are influenced by their constituents; but, the public does not seem to have that much interest. They have an opinion for or against impeachment, but are not following it that much. 2/3 say they would not change their minds regardless of what the investigation reveals.

I think Democrats lost some of their steam by having something new every week they claimed would get rid of Trump (like the boy who cried "wolf"). It makes this appear like this is just the latest incident. Many of the JPP posters were convinced the Mueller report was the smoking gun (until it wasn't).

Rasmussen has polled an eight point drop in Trump job popularity today.

yes
since you didn't link it I went and checked.......of course I found you lied.....

61% of women support impeachment and removal. Woman voted in large numbers in 2018, we will
see that, again, in 2020

Trump has the Senate which has voted for anything he wants in his pocket. Trump will not lose the trial. But even more, people would see what a mess he is. It will be incumbent upon Mcconnel to find a way to make a farce out of the trial. He is low enough to do that.

Then let’s have a vote. Get it over to the Senate already

What is your rush? Impeachment is a political move as well as legal. The longer the Dems have testimonies showing the corruption of Trump and his cronies, the better off they and America will be.

I don't think he will try that because the presiding judge is a SCt. Justice. I do think he'll try to hurry it up in order to limit the evidence and witnesses presented though. The longer it's in the public eye the worse the optics are for the lawless (R)s.
