The GOP-dominated House passed a bill that included sops to big oil and big money in another attempt to hold America hostage.
The bill is DOA in the Senate, the only branch of Congress not controlled by tax-cutting, job-killing shills for the rich.
Unless the Tea-rorists get their way, taxes on working Americans will go up while the 1% continue to enjoy the Bush tax cuts that have crippled the economy of the USA.
Not only that, unless the big oil and billionaire lobbies get their way, the rightwing defenders of the wealthy may shut down our government by refusing to honor Americas' budget obligations.
