I was in a store last week (working in Kentucky) and heard a rumor. So I spent a little money and found out its true.
If you buy a box of Crackerjacks, the prize is a code you use on their website to download your prize.
Now I am not some Luddite who hates technology. I have been online longer than anyone I know. My first time online I had to put the phone receiver in a special cradle and dial the number.
But digital prizes in Crackerjacks??? That is going too far. I thought adding blue M&Ms was bad, then I read about them removing Jail from Monopoly. But no toy in Crackerjacks???
This is the final proof that the world has gone to hell in a handbasket.
