No Laughs at Correspondents Dinner This Year

This being a White House that can’t take a joke, the sponsors of this year’s Correspondents Dinner have decided to do without a comic for the first time in sixteen years, prompting our humor challenged President to tweet the cancellation is because of Michelle Wolf “bombing” at last year’s dinner. Yes, she bombed herself into instant celebrity and her own Netflix series.

Bad idea of course to start a tweet war with Michelle, who shot back, “I bet you’d be on my side if I killed a journalist.” Whereupon Trump’s tweet gun fell silent.

The episode highlights the emotional impairment that prevents Trump from ever laughing at himself while moving him to constantly mock and ridicule others.

Trump is such a big baby. Other presidents responded in kind and everyone had fun. But Daffy is so sensitive that he cannot take a joke. He can pay a comedian to write his responses and put them on a teleprompter. He can kind of read, can't he?

Trump can't appear at any social function he isn't either the sole focus of attention or that his staff can't completely control. All the Presidential traditions as the Kenndy Honors, Al Smith dinner, or an occasional attendance at a sporting or cultural event are off the table, he is not mature enough

Trump is not smart enough to have a sense of humor.
