Two torn meniscus, both knees.
Doctor ask me how I injured them, no idea.
Thought it was the chemo medication causing them to hurt.
I really can't think of a time I fell or lifted anything that caused any great deal of pain, I did fall down the steps a couple of times after a chemo session, my knee was sore for a few days, but not to the point of slowing me down.
My high pain threshold has its disadvantage, I guess.
I will have surgery on the 11th, be
on crutches for 3-5 days and then I should be good to go!
MRIs for both knees $5,470.00
Physician to read results $250.00
Physicians and assistants bill for office visits and surgery $10,535.00
Pre-surgery examine by my MD $125
Hospital costs, undetermined
Anesthesiologist undetermined
I am so happy to have good insurance, it makes me sad or those who don't!
I hope to resume pole dancing by July!
