Where Prisoners are treated like people. Once communism/socialism has a foot in the door, incarceration rates go down and costs go down with it. But it's a sacrifice in America's capitalist prinsiples of making the criminal element pay a high price for their crimes. Norway's prison population are treated better than the average American. And they're eating steaks more often too!

If that's what Americans want they be aware that socialism becomes creeping communism!
 
Far, far, far to civil and humane for americans. We're about vengeance and fear. And keeping up our standing as the incarceration nation: 5% of the planet's population, 25% of the planet's incarcerated population, quite "exceptional". We also turn corporate state profits on prisoners and invite everyone including phone companies to pile on. Wildfire fighting? Pfffft, we can get away with paying cons $1/day to fight fires. Convict labor leasing. The goal in america is to keep as many people incarcerated as we can and maximize recidivism. The goal here is not reintegration back into society, ever.

The Government of Norway is a Constitutional Monarchy and is a Parliamentary Democracy. Norway is a Kingdom.

If you look at who the big investors were in for profit prisons it was like Chic Filet and Hobby Lobby.. Christian Republicans.

Folks who never accepted black folk being off a plantation.

The pilot program for this travesty was rolled out in TN "partnering" with CCA. Now Senator Lamar Alexander was governor at the time. Turns out he and his sweet wife Honey Alexander held stock in CCA at the time.

Win win.

Isn't it funny how free marketeers are always and forever going after public funding.

The alternative to for profit health care in America? Socialism/communism! Is that what decent American christians really want. Being godless?

Do they vote? Check me on this, but I think in Finland(?) they also vote. Makes perfect sense to me, IF the goal is to reintegrate folks back into society under the legal system. They, being in their due to laws, should have a say in the society they will come back out into.

Now if your aim is to have a permanent mass of society incarcerated/enslaved into corporate forced labor camps, fuck 'em, you're not going to allow them the "right" to vote. And that is obviously not a God ordained inalienable "right". Your aristocracy gave you that "right" and can take it for whatever they deem appropriate.

Norway is a safe, clean, happy, successful country.. Somebody should tell Trump that's why they aren't immigrating to the US.

What is American or Christian about the US these days?
