Unbelievable! A homeless man living in the woods builds a home made guillotine and severs his own arm. One has to wonder why he was building a guillotine... freaky

Not a Halloween Costume: Washington Man Cuts Off Arm With Guillotine.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (CBS Seattle) — A Washington man loses his arm from a homemade guillotine.

The guillotine unexpectedly dropped on his shoulder Thursday morning at a camp he was living at, severing his arm.

He left the arm behind after the accident and rushed to Bellingham Urology Specialists.

Evelyn Leuther, who works at the clinic, told CBS Seattle a woman passing by said, “I hope that’s a Halloween costume,” referring to the man missing his arm at the shoulder.

Groan... :D

Seriously though... There could be no good intentions that this wackadoodle could have for building a guillotine.

The best you could hope for was that it was a strange hobby. But yeah, pretty much every scenario I come up with is horrible.

Given we are home to some of the nations most notorious serial killers... neither could I.

Just a few months back a prostitute was picked up and taken to an area near Tacoma. She got creep-ed out by the way the guy began talking to he, so, she asked him to stop so she could buy a pack of smokes. While getting her smokes she sent a text to her pimp with the guys plate# and said "call the cops if you don't see me by midnight". Sure enough the guy took her to his place and chained her up in a sound proof basement. When she realized her outcome was likely death (due to his crazy talk and physical beatings)- she told him about her text. He checked her cell phone and then recanted all the crazy shit, about how he was going to enjoy mutilating her, as just him doing some role playing- Cops spent days with cadaver dogs going over his property... found nothing. Still, they are convinced she was not his first attempt. It's like these crazies are bred up here in PNW.

So, yeah, a guy living in a tent in the woods who builds a guillotine right before Halloween is a tad too creepy for any good purpose.

Three D may take issue with that.

No, my first reaction was the same as ID's. You get used to this shit living up here in the Pacific NW, and its not just that we're a breeding ground for serial killers and Bob Mathews types.

A while back, someone posted a graphic of the US with each state assuming the label of something bad that it is noted for. Florida had "identity theft," for example. Washington had "beastiality."

The bestiality thing probably has something to do with Bigfoot. :)
