“Wokeness” centers “the personal is political” at the heart of all politics and treats political action as inherently a matter of personal moral hygiene - woke isn’t something you do, it’s something you are. Persuasion and compromise are contrary to this vision of moral hygiene and thus are deprecated.

I’d rather woke politics win than conservatism. But I’d rather have a friendly forgiving plainspoken big tent civil libertarian socialist mass movement, personally. Trouble is, there is only woke and anti-woke.

There is no definition of the word WOKE any longer. The Word has long since lost it's original meaning.

Just watch how the word is tossed around by Fox News to mean whatever they want it to mean.

Fox gnus is now being sued for 2.7 billion from Smartmatic. They are in deep trouble with Dominion. However, the lies that they told about voting machines did great damage to the manufacturer's business. They seek to recover damages. It is hard to defend yourself in court when you have a staff communicating that they were telling lies to their viewers. It was and still is, Fox's business model.
