20% of LIKELY DEMOCRAT PARTY voters say they would switch over and vote Trump. Granted it is surely early in the contest and Trump hasn't even won the nomination yet. But, this should give the democrat party fits. The bottom line with Hillary Clinton is this. She has a low ceiling meaning that there aren't going to be a lot of undecideds out there. She has been in the public eye for 40 years. Her only accomplishment is that she stood by while men (Bill and Obama) walked all over her and she feels entitled. She has ZERO real accomplishments on her own.

That is why you don't see any REAL excitement for her from JPP liberals.

In 2008 liberals on JPP couldn't stop posting about and starting threads about how wonderful they thought Obama was. You don't see that with Hillary. They will of course grudgingly vote for her. But there is no groundswell of love for her like they had for Obama.

What scares the democrat party is that Trump is generating the kind of buzz and excitement that Obama did in 2008. All of the arguments the liberals make about Trump were made about Obama in 2008 and the liberals didn't care. They voted for celebrity and color in Obama.

DISCLAIMER: I am voting for Cruz in the primary, however I would vote for Trump over Hillary and Bernie. I will not vote for any of the other GOP candidates should they win the nomination

That is actually very interesting. At the beginning I thought of Trump as a buffoon, a clown and thought he would drop soon. I was wrong. I still can't see myself voting for him but I will never vote for Hillary or a socialist. They fear losing the socialist vote so much that Hillary or the DNC chair refuses to define a difference between the Democrats and socialists...

Though I hate him less than at the beginning of the campaign I still hope for Cruz or Rubio over Trump. My first choice will not even get close to the nomination this time.

I am still a Cruz guy, but I have to credit Trump. He is a quick learner and has some of the best political instincts I have seen in years. Probably since Reagan and Bill Clinton.

Hillary is just not likeable. Period. Every time you hear speak in a large forum she comes off as shrill.

There is this phenomenon about Hillary. The more she is in public the lower her poll numbers go.

She is battling two negatives

1) Obama and his policies are extremely unpopular right now
2) Hillary is deemed untrustworthy by a large majority of Americans

If Trump comes up with a plan to help minorities get out of poverty, with backing from high profile minority leaders, he'll kill the liberal platform.
The problem is getting people to understand that getting out of the situation needs to be somewhat of a 50/50 relationship; which means that the people being helped have to ACTUALLY want to make the move, own their own behavior, and make any necessary sacrifices.

I'm waiting for Obama to come out and back Hillary and then for Trump to bring up all the comments they made regarding each other, during the 2008 campaign.
Hillary getting her "appointment" was nothing more then a payoff for supporting Trump, after it because apparent that she had no chance against him.

Donald Trump is the most honest man I have ever known of to have run for political office. He is the anti politician, the anti political establishment.

A Hillary - Trump election campaign will be the most fun I have ever had with politics. I hope it happens, I actually cannot wait until it happens. I mean the entertainment value of it is worth it alone. Trump will pull no punches on Hillary.

I firmly believe that only the republican establishment will prevent it from taking place between now and the nomination. The republican voters are with Trump. The super pac donors with their millions in donations are with the establishment canidates and this is why I think as much.

You don't have any reason to "hate him." Hate is a very powerful word and liberals like you throw this description at people so cavalierly thinking that you're morally superior enough to use it at will.

What you do is "fear him" the most because he is such a threat to the liberal political establishment because Trump is not enslaved to any GOP special interests or establishment donors. the guy is using mostly his own money to run and he's outside the box.

This is why you fear him so much.

There are several flaws in your argument. The first one is that Democrats fear Trump or Cruz. I'm reasonably sure that if you took a poll of partisan Democrats as to who they would like to see win the GOP nomination the overwhelming majority would say either Trump or Cruz. Don't believe me? Start a poll. The second flaw is that the State polling data still show that if the elections were to be held today and either Clinton or Sanders was the nominee both would defeat Trump by a significant margin and crush Cruz in an electoral landslide.

So my question for you is....where are all these scared Democrats you're talking about? Cause I don't see them. The vast majority of Democrats I know want either Trump or Cruz to win the GOP nomination as they think the Democratic nominee will win easily if they face either for those two.

Just for the record I'm still pulling for Kasich though I don't think he has a very realistic chance. Time will tell...and shortly at that.

and yet the State by State poling data shows her easily defeating either Trump or Cruz. Why is that?

The problem with that argument is that the vast majority of those in poverty in this nation are white. You're also bullshitting yourself. As long as the right wing of the party continues to use harsh and often racist rhetoric about racial minorities than they simply won't vote for Republicans.

I see that you've taken the same route that Christie is preaching and ignoring percentages; but then, liberals usually do walk in lock step. :D

Or is it that you're numerically impaired? National polls are not that significant in POTUS elections. It's the State polls which cumulatively give you a more representative picture of what is happening and since the POTUS election is based on electoral votes the data clearly shows Trump and Cruz at a serious disadvantage. Hillary, at this time vs Trump, would start off with nearly 240 EV's with only 270 needed to be elected and she's polling far better in the purple States. Current polling data shows her beating Trump with around 300 EV's. 330 EV's or more against Cruz.

Also, since it is Trump and Cruz who are preaching the redneck catechism we all really know who the ones walking in lock step are.

WTF??

Have you just completely decided to go full on Desh; because what in the hell does your response have to do with our previous exchange, regarding poverty??
