Obama and dems promised us that if they were elected, there would be job creation

Bush promised that he would not be into nation building, not be the police force for the world, cut spending, etc.

My point is political promises are specifically exempt from truth in advertising laws for a reason.

politicians LIE!

I believe it was the teabag party in '10 that promised the jobs. How could Obama run on a jobs platform, when the economy hadn't tanked until 2 months before the election?

where are the jobs?

To be fair to Obama, he did create some...

Labor Department statistics show that the federal government , not counting the postal service, has grown by 143,000 employees during Obama’s tenure.

A few million, actually - per the CBO.

Onecell, sucking up that Koolade......unemployment is growing and he bragging about Obama creating jobs.....
the only jobs that can attributed to Obama is the growth in government jobs.....I imagine his dream is to have everybody working for the government....
its odd that that is only place morons qualify for jobs.....they can't read, can't write, can't count and can't do the jobs but that doesn't seem to make
any difference in the Obama work force.....

CBO ? They are the ones that count a slowdown in the growth of welfare, for ex., as a cut in welfare so Obama can blame Republicans for starving the welfare recipients.....lol

Too bad you have no facts on your side; only right-wing talking points.

The CBO details the jobs that resulted from the stimulus. You should check it out, or provide a source for any info you think contradicts the CBO.

[h=2]Job creation by term[/h]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jobs_created_during_U.S._presidential_terms

The job numbers are collected via a survey of thousands of businesses. The sample establishments are drawn from private nonfarm businesses such as factories, offices, and stores, as well as federal, state, and local government entities. Employees on nonfarm payrolls are those who received pay for any part of the reference pay period (which includes the 12th of the month), including persons on paid leave.

where are the jobs?

Over a decade ago Republicans promised us that if we allowed them to give massive tax cuts to the rich, it would stimulate job growth...well,it's a decade later and still virtually no jobs generated from those tax cuts, yet when I ask where are those jobs, I get labeled a troll...

So BEHOLD!

Another lesson in how to engage in meaningful debate brought to you by Yurt the troll...ROTFLMAO!

Things never turned out quite as well as the predictions initially put out by the Obama administration (for instance, that unemployment wouldn't go above 7% - I just wonder what delusional universe he must have been living in to attach his name to such a ridiculous figure). But America has been doing well compared to the rest of the developed world. Shouldn't that count for anything? The Republicans propose doing in America what has failed in Europe - do they think that 30th times a charm, or something? The only countries that have really done better than America would be countries in eastasia, like China and Singapore, which responded to the recession with much more stimulus (compared to the size of their economy), which was much more targeted towards infrastructure rather than tax cuts.
