If this gaffe is for real, then it looks like Romney can let out a sigh of relief.

Then both campaigns can go to work at releasing new "47%" and "Export" commercials. You might even say that they will export more commercials. :D

Funny how this hasn't been all over the media... I wonder why.

I would run a commercial with that looping for about 20 seconds... then a giant WTF on the screen for 10.

I saw the clip this morning and he followed it up my saying "that's something my opponent would say" which got a big reaction out of the audience.

Is it funny how this hasn't been all over the media? He misspoke and corrected himself. Is that really newsworthy? I mean, I could see a campaign cutting out the part where he corrected himself and running ads, even though it'd be stupid, but I don't really see the news value in the president misspeaking and correcting himself.

By contrast, a candidate speaking to a closed room of rich people making sincerely-held generalizations about the lazy, no good moochers that are half of America is news-worthy. If he misspoke, maybe you'd have a point. But he didn't. He really meant every word that he said.

Here's the transcript:

First thing is I want to see us export more jobs -- export more products -- excuse me -- (laughter.) I was channeling my opponent there for a second. (Laughter and applause.) I want to see us export more products and outsource fewer jobs.
