If a new polls are any guide, President Obama has big leads in two states that could nail down his re-election: Ohio and Florida.

Obama leads Republican Mitt Romney by ten points -- 53%-43% -- in Ohio, according to the Quinnipiac University/New York Times/CBS News survey.

Obama's lead is nine points in Florida, 53%-44%.

The president also leads Romney by 12 points in Pennsylvania, a state the Democrats have carried in five straight presidential elections.

"Voters in each state see President Obama as better than Gov. Romney to handle the economy, health care, Medicare, national security, an international crisis and immigration," reports Quinnipiac.

Does that mean you can stop posting? Are they any guide?

Can Mitt Romney possibly recover? Pundits and pollsters are beginning to doubt it.

A survey conducted between Sept. 12 and Sept. 16 by the Pew Research Center -- before the "47 percent of Americans are victims" video came to light -- showed President Barack Obama ahead of Mr. Romney 51 percent to 43 percent among likely voters.

That's the biggest margin in the September survey prior to a presidential election since Bill Clinton led Bob Dole, 50 percent to 38 percent, in 1996.

And, remember, this poll was done before America watched Romney belittle almost half the nation.

Do you think he can recover?

The truth is out and there is no hiding it again.

As I have said all along, Mitt will rule for the benefit solely of the wealthiest americans, with NO concern for the rest.

From his own lips, this truth has now been uttered.

Thank God for this tiny bit of honesty from Mitt. He would have devastated the economy on a scale that would have made Cheney look like a pushover.

Yes, the stock market would have soared to new heights, for a time, but real creation of wealth would plummet and eventually the parasitic industries of finance and insurance would kill what's left of our already hemorrhaging economy.

Mitt can only go down from here.

Why do you want a president to have concern for you? Why is that so important to you?
