Obama may be talking about jobs on Monday, January 25, 2010, but just a few days earlier he told an audience in Elyria, Ohio that he would still try to convince the American public to accept Obamacare

He told the audience that "We're going to keep working to get this done with Democrats." He behaves as if the election of Republican Senator-elect Scott Brown had never taken place.

Americans do not oppose the healthcare bill. They oppose Republican lies. And that's fine, absolutely nothing like those Republican lies is in the bill. So pass the fucker, as soon as possible, using any means necessary.

people like you are dangerous to america

Because things come out of my mouth that aren't lies? Do Republicans know how to do anything but lie anymore? The Republican party is an evil party. That's the end of the story.

Yeah, pretty much all I do is lie around...

(snipped url because the board won't allow me to post links)

Well think of it this way: 59 Democrats in the Senate, 256 in the House. Things are trending Republican in the populace, but if they have that much of a majority and give it up over one senator and two governors being lost, they're going to look like pussies. And voters do not like pussies, right or wrong. I mean, Bush acted like he had a mandate after 2002 and it took him places, at least until the 2006 elections.

What makes you think it'll be a slam-dunk because of Brown?

Brown's mom was on welfare so it'll be hard for him to come down too strong on recipients. Also, Brown supports a woman's right to choose.

On the other hand Brown "opposes President Obama's plan to overhaul health care, but supports mandatory coverage in Massachusetts." Pretty hypocritical, IMO.

Brown isn't looking like the ideologue some conservatives are hoping for and he may be open to modifying his views.
