He obeyed, and he'll get paid.

Mr. President, 5 things I did last week:

1. Terminated NYC elitist, anti-worker congestion pricing
.2. Launched an investigation into the $16 billion in taxpayer dollars wasted on a high-speed rail project that, after 17 years, has yet to lay a single mile of track.
3. Saved $10 million a year by eliminating redundant and outdated landlines.
4. Visited the Air Traffic Control Command Center in Virginia to see the critical tech upgrades we need to make our air traffic system the envy of the world.

5. Toured Burbank, California traffic control tower and heard from air traffic controllers about how to improve conditions and retain and recruit more controllers. Looking forward to another week of fighting for Americans @USDOT.

I was once a GS-14. It wouldn’t have been difficult to make that report. In fact I could’ve easily demonstrated that I was paid far less for the work I did than what I ended up making self-employed doing the same thing.
What are they afraid of?
Exactly. I could give 4 or 5 bullet point, single sentence, answers in a matter of a couple of minutes to that question. No big deal. If it is a big deal and an employee is having difficulty coming up with 4 or 5 things that sound reasonable and productive, maybe they need to find different employment.

Anyone here that is still active in life should be able to do the same thing in a few minutes.

In the last week I:

* Found vendors to do repairs to the frame of my Lotus project car to include repairs, stripping paint, removing rust, and applying primer.
* Stripped said frame of extraneous components in preparation for the above.
* Acquired an engine hoist to make moving said components to vendor safe and effective.
* Performed 3 electrical service calls as subcontractor to a general contractor.
* Worked approximately 16 hours on book History of Surface-to-Air Missiles to 1955. Currently editing text.
* Researched and obtained catalogs from parts vendors for Lotus project.

Not all, but enough to satisfy the basic idea involved here. That is, I was busy doing productive things.

I was GS 14 also and my days were long and busy. I would have enjoyed documenting what I did.
