It would be more accurate to say that it was a bad day for incumbents. I wouldn't look to much into it. The natives may be getting restless in that they feel not enough is being done about the economy and other issues, everything seems to be wrapped up in getting health care for the 12% of the population who doesn't have it but if Dixie thinks the people have forgotten Bush and wants to go back to wingnut governance I only have one word for him. Katrina!
Not going to happen. Need I point out that the election was hardly representative and that of the two (wow a whole 2!) Republican Governors elected one was a northern moderate that Dixie dispises so if that's the change Dixie see's a coming, I'm all for it.
I think Christie will be a darned good Governor and I think the Republican party can use a lot more men and women like him. So put that in your pipe and smoke it Dixie. LOL
BTW Dixie, polling showed in NJ that those who were more concerned about the economy voted for Corzine and those more concerned about taxation voted for Christie. That extrapolates to the national level to and guess what? Nation wide more people are more concerned about the economy than taxation and that those concerned more about the economy favor Democrats. So consider that.
