Ohio Senate passes measure forcing hospitals to administer ivermectin, other patient-requested treatments

Let It Burn!

I'm all for this. Yes, have them sign a waiver that they have self diagnosed and are requesting a medication that the doctor does not guarantee it will not have ill effects to their health or may result in death. The facility and their doctors will pay no price for giving a medication that they were forced to give to the patient.

Weeding themselves out slowly. Hasta morons!

Yo Schmuckolla,
Ivermectin has been around for decades and has FAR less side effects than the Covid vaccines or this new monstrosity called Paxlovid.

Y'all will weed yourselves out. Keep up on all your Covid-19, Flu and RSV vaccines.
Cheers

Yes, I know that but it is no approved or proven to help with Covid 19 and it's variants. I mean nobody is stopping you now. If you want to take random shit go for it. Deworm yourself all day everyday! Nobody will stop you and you won't be able to sue after the fact. Enjoy!

Anyway, this Bill is Smoke and Mirrors. There is a loophole in the bill the size of Texas.

Ohio Senate passes measure forcing hospitals to administer ivermectin, other patient-requested treatments

--------
There are some caveats to the proposed rule, however, that would enable a prescriber to say no to issuing a drug for off-label use.

Pharmacists, hospitals or inpatient facilities don’t have to issue drugs for off-label use if they have a “moral, ethical, or religious belief or conviction” that conflicts with dispensing a medication off label.

They are not required to administer off-label medication if they have an “objective, good faith, and scientific” objection to the drug being used for anything other than what it is intended for, or if a pharmacist has documented that a patient is allergic to the drug or it could cause a life-threatening drug interaction.

The bill will need to be approved by the Ohio House of Representatives before it can be sent to the governor.

Wow.

Ivermectin is a "safe and effective" medication, dude. It has numerous uses.

Why is ivermectin so scary to you?? Because the TV told you that it is scary??

"Conclusions: As the main finding, although Ivermectin, Chloroquine/Hydroxychloroquine, and Azithromycin might have mechanistic effects against SARS-CoV-2 infection, most phase III clinical trials observed no treatment benefit in patients with COVID-19, underscoring the need for robust phase III clinical trials."

"Despite its observed benefits in symptom management, ivermectin did not significantly influence critical clinical outcomes in COVID-19 patients."

I mean if they want to waste their money and time so be it.

So?? Ivermectin doesn't need any "official approval" from anyone in order to be a beneficial treatment option. It does seem to be helpful in this case, though.
If you want to take random shit go for it.
Ivermectin is NOT "random shit". That would be the COVID jabs and Paxlovid.
Deworm yourself all day everyday!
Ivermectin has numerous uses, not just as a dewormer.
